OUR Six-Week Summer COLLEGE Experience at the University of California, Santa Barbara, IS tailored to URA high school student-athletes aiming to earn college credits.

The immersive experience is designed to nurture holistic growth, encompassing academic, professional, personal, and social development. Students reside in the Santa Cruz dormitory, perched on Campus Point, affording breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands.

An alumni Resident Advisor guides students within the dorm, while the URA Director oversees the program's operations. Through the Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP), students actively participate in weekly workshops covering crucial topics, including Time Management, Study Skills, Financial Aid, and specialized workshops dedicated to College Applications and College Entrance Essays. Students also enroll in a college course, selecting from a diverse array of entry-level subjects.

Beyond the classroom, students engage in a customized service program in the local community. Intensive rugby and strength and conditioning training sessions are scheduled throughout the week, centered on skill development and deepening their love for the sport.
